On my introduction calls, I ask ⤵
How many 𝐌𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐩 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 have you submitted?
And all too often, I hear ⤵
“𝐼’𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑦… 𝐼 ℎ𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑘.”
Every time I hear that, it stings!
Because it shouldn’t be this difficult to land a Medical Sales role.
𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 if you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the process.
Most candidates don’t secure a Med Rep job overnight.
↳ In fact, the average time it takes is 18 months.
Why so long?
Because some parts of the interview process are completely 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥:
📌 When jobs open up.
📌 How many people apply.
📌 Number of jobs available in your area.
📌 Whether the manager has someone in mind.
But here’s what is 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥:
✅ How well you prepare.
✅ Your energy and confidence.
✅ The story you tell in your interview.
✅ Your consistency when things get quiet.
You don’t need to be perfect.
↳ You just need a plan.
If you’re feeling stuck, don’t quit. 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐭.
You’re closer than you think.
