When I started in sales… I was completely lost.
And you know what? That’s okay.
Everyone starts somewhere.
➟ The important part is to 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓.
As an introvert, I had to step out of my comfort zone.
But that didn’t happen overnight.
- I read sales books.
- I attended seminars.
- I practiced with customers.
Before stepping into Medical Sales, I gained experience in retail and B2B sales.
During college, I worked at Sprint PCS and made great commission checks while studying Biology full-time.
I thrived in a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 Telecom selling environment, consistently earning Top Sales Associate—not because I was a natural salesperson, but because I applied what I learned.
𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 improved my communication skills and built my confidence. After graduating, Sprint PCS relocated me to Houston, where I managed accounts like Best Buy, Circuit City, and Office Depot.
I learned the art of 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and how to build meaningful relationships with customers—skills that would later fuel my success in Medical Sales.
➟ My road to Medical Sales wasn’t easy.
Breaking into Medical Sales took me 18 months. It was a grind full of trial and error, and I made plenty of mistakes along the way.
Eventually, I found a way to combine my 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 + 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 to land my first role in Medical Sales.
And now, I help others do it FASTER.
So tell me, what’s stopping you?
