One piece of the Medical Sales interview puzzle.
Networking.
A word that is often overused.
Let’s take a moment to explore the term “networking.”

“𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛.”
↳ No, it doesn’t. Networking can get you noticed, but you still need to excel in the interview and prove your value.
“𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬.”
↳ Not true! Networking helps, but persistence, preparation, and skill are MORE important.
“𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬.”
↳ Introverts can be just as effective. Thoughtful, one-on-one conversations often leave a lasting impression.
Think of networking as a tool to 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒐𝒓.
However, the interview itself is where you seal the deal.
